# Rocketmark

> Rocketmark is an online trademark filing service for Malta and the European Union. An IP lawyer prepares and files your application — you provide brand details, receive AI-assisted Nice class recommendations and preliminary clearance checks, pay via Stripe, and get status updates from intake through registration.

Rocketmark helps businesses and individuals register trademarks with the Malta Intellectual Property Office and/or EUIPO (covering all 27 EU member states). The guided form takes about five minutes to start; no account is required until after payment.

Rocketmark is run by an IP lawyer who handles preparation and office filing from brand details and Nice classes through to submission. You brief your brand, we recommend classes in plain English, and you stay informed every step of the way. Complex disputes or opposition strategy may still need separate counsel.

## How filing works

1. **Brand details** — Enter your brand name, website (optional), and a short description of your goods or services. Rocketmark can scrape your website to pre-fill brand details.
2. **Analysis** — AI recommends Nice classes based on your brand and description. A preliminary word-mark eligibility check runs against the EUIPO register.
3. **Mark type** — Choose a word mark, figurative (logo) mark, or combined mark. Upload a logo image (JPEG or PNG) for figurative or combined marks.
4. **Classes and checkout** — Select Malta, EU, or both jurisdictions. Review recommended Nice classes, adjust your selection, and pay via Stripe Checkout.
5. **Applicant details** — After payment, provide applicant name, email, address, and entity type (individual or company) with the relevant ID or company number.
6. **Filing and updates** — An IP lawyer files with the relevant office. Track progress via the customer dashboard or the public status lookup page.

## Pricing

- **Malta (national):** €450 per Nice class. Retail price is all-inclusive; it covers the official Malta IPRD registration fee (€115 per class, VAT-exempt), so customers make one payment to Rocketmark and nothing separate to the IPRD.
- **EU (EUIPO, all 27 member states):** €2,250 for up to 2 Nice classes; €350 per additional class. The retail price covers the official EUIPO registration fees (VAT-exempt), so customers make one payment to Rocketmark and nothing separate to the EUIPO.
- **VAT:** 18% Maltese VAT applies to professional fees only, not to official IP office fees.
- **Payment:** Handled by Stripe. Card details are not stored by Rocketmark.

## Analysis and clearance

- AI-assisted Nice class recommendations from brand name, website, and business description.
- Preliminary word-mark eligibility scoring (high, medium, or low) based on dictionary assessment and a search of the EUIPO register.
- Clearance results are indicative guidance, not legal advice. Active conflicts or borderline cases should be reviewed before filing.

## Mark types and jurisdictions

- **Mark types:** Word mark, figurative (logo) mark, or combined word-and-logo mark.
- **Jurisdictions:** Malta (national registration via IPRD) and/or EU (EUIPO registration covering all 27 EU member states). Both can be filed in a single flow.

## Customer account

- No account is needed to start the filing form.
- After payment, customers can sign in with a magic link or one-time code sent to their email.
- The customer dashboard at `/dashboard` (login required) shows applications, correspondence, transactions, and profile settings.

## Privacy

Rocketmark collects brand, applicant, and payment details needed to process filings and communicate about applications. Payment is handled by Stripe; full card numbers are not stored. With cookie consent, PostHog analytics (EU-hosted) is used to understand site usage and form drop-off. Cookie preferences can be changed anytime via the footer.

## Terms

By using Rocketmark you agree that filings are submitted based on the information you provide, and that official office fees and processing times are set by the relevant IP office. Rocketmark is provided for preparing and submitting applications.
